Ruth Elizabeth Spivey

To Rev. Spivey and Family:

From the moment Mrs Spivey and I met when you came to Quinn Chapel, our eyes met and we became mutual admirers. We did not express this to each other until years later, but we knew. She was of tremendous help to me when I started the Reading to the Blind Program at Whitney Young Library and Woodson Regional Library. She assisted one lady thru college to earn her degree. We shall miss her tremendously. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

She was always "Mrs. Spivey" to us. She was always a great character: sweet, funny, and always a pleasure to wait on. We will miss seeing her smile.- the tellers of Wachovia, Julington Creek
