Not sure what to say?

Dear Dave, I am so sorry that I did not know that you and Ruth were back in Tucson. If we had Rena and I would have spent quality time with you and Ruth. We have so many good memories of times spent in Intercollegiate Athletics. In 1997 You and Ruth came to our home to help celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We offer our prayerful condolences. God Bless you my true friend!!!! Mike & Rena Lude

Dear Sally and family-
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I've thought of you often through the years and wondered about your life. It's hard to reconnect at such a sad time. I hope you have oodles of happy memories to sustain and strengthen you. Thank you for taking me to a couple of Michigan basketball games when we were kids.

Dear Sally and everyone
Ruth Ann was my favorite mom and I know how much you will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always.
Love, Ann Emmons Yost

Coach Strack: Please accept my condolences on the passing of your wife Ruth. I am attaching two photographs I recently stumbled upon that I thought might sir some pleasant memories of life in Ann Arbor. The original "Fab Five," eh?

Dear Sally.
I haven't seen you in forever. But I wanted to offer my condolences on the loss of your Mom. I know you will miss her.

Dear Sally and family,

So sorry to hear about your mom - guess we are at that age.... although we haven't seen each other in years, I always think of you and your family when I pass the yellow house on Hill St.

Dave,
Sorry for your loss. I am afraid that it goes with the territory at our ages. My husband died in 1999. I think he wanted to make it to the new century but it was not to be.

I remember Ruth Ann well, as a lovely, warm person. We were both in the Waterman group of Michigan alums, and members of the Huron Valley Swim club.

You may not remember, but you and I met on the train from Detroit to AA as we were arriving for our freshman year, you form Indianapolis as I...
