Not sure what to say?

I can´t believe it´s a year since you have gone to heaven.I kept your beautiful picture at my desk. Now that I have retired well semi retired my love for caring for the elderly was hard to give up so I now work for Seniors helping Seniors which I enjoy. Just like I enjoyed caring for you Ruth when we had one on one time together. Sending God´s Blessing´s To The Sutherland Family.

Ruth Sutherland was quite a constructive force for good in her important work with the brothers of the Psi Upsilon fraternity at Lehigh University - helping to keep that group of otherwise somewhat unmoored young men on the path of civilization. I lived at the Eta house at Lehigh for three years in the 1970's. Ruth was friendly and supportive of all is us boys - motherly but with just the right light and humorous touch. She always made a strong case for adulthood. I liked Ruth very much...

I have such fond memories of Ruth! I was one of the Psi Upsilon fraternity brothers who hired Ruth back in what was probably 1972. She was a welcome relief after we had cooked for ourselves for a year. Ruth was much more than our cook; she was a special person! I still remember asking her to sew a patch onto my jeans, which she willingly and adroitly did, of course! Rest In Peace Ruth

Ruth was the cook at our fraternity while I was at Lehigh. Wonderful person and a great cook. She set the standard for bread pudding that I still talk about to this day. My condolences to her family.

Dan, I am truly sory to read of your mother's passing. May she have eternal rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior. God bless you and your family. Peace to you.

It was a joy to care for Ruth.I enjoyed the stories about all she did in her life. Ruth loved her family with all her heart as they loved her. I know she
is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus. Sending my condolences to her
family.
