Ruth Marie Thompson

Thank you, Lord for giving me our friend and sister. Ruth was a marvelous, caring, and wonderful sister. I am so glad, she made trips to Colorado to visit and see us. We had such good times together. I’m glad Donnie, and family let her come. She was good at so many things and always was better at art, sewing, cooking than I was. We shared ideas and opinions. I have known Ruth since the day she was born and we became so close. That was 65 years ago and she was a joy way back then I remember my mother Matilda Scheitel who was her Grandma telling even when she was only 7 years old she was spending the afternoon and when Grandma got out her mending basket Ruth insisted she had to have a needle and thread and so Grandma got a couple pieces of cloth and she made shoes for her doll. It was such a shock to hear that Ruth had passed away as she was like the Eveready Bunny and just kept bouncing right back.

For 39yrs she was my Mom,
No better a mom could be, she was always with me and always will be.
Superwoman would be not enough credit for my mother. She always
made the best things to eat, and the
best home to be.
