Read MoreRuth and I met while volunteering at Serve City. We always found some time to just sit and chat, and, as a result, became quite good friends. Even after we both were unable to volunteer,we kept up our friendship through regular phone calls. I still miss talking to her. You were blessed to be able to call her Mother.

I am so sorry that I missed the notice of Ruth's passing We no longer get a newspaper so I did not know of her death. We met while volunteering at Serve City and became good friends I deeply admired Ruth and treasure fond memories of her. We stayed in touch by phone on a regular basis.When I could no longer reach her by phone, I felt that she had passed.The last time I called, I talked with Joe.
