Dear Tubie,
It's been 42 years since my mom,Jean Northouse died, and yet the memory is like yesterday. I feel your loss as I fondly remember your mom, whom we called Aunt Doke. She had that ever present smile of acceptance and ability to make us all feel so welcome at your house. The memories will live on as you grieve her loss. One of her gifrs to you is fond memories. I send my sympathy as you journey through this time.

It is with sadness that I read about "Aunt Doke's" death. It's a shame we have not kept in contact. My husband's mother passed away on Sunday 28th so we can relate deeply to your loss.
