Ruthie was a huge influece on my life as a teen in Canton, she was like a second Mom to me. I remember going to her house to find her daughters not home. Ruthie always made me stay and hang out with her. She would tell me stories of her childhood in Germany, ask me about my woes and just enjoy being together.
