Ruth Emily Widmer

My family and I lived directly across the street from Ruth (Boots to me) and her father for over 60 years. She was always a very kind and nice individual. I remember the days when she would drive up in her bright red convertible dress to the nine's. She will be missed. Boots was last of the original owners still living on Colston Drive.

I worked for Ruth at Garfinkles in Tyson´s Corner many years ago. I truly loved her, not only as a mentor but as a wonderful human being. I will never forget her kindness and generosity. She was so very special to me. I am so very sad for all she touched. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Much love . Rest in piece dear Ruth.
