Ruth Ballard Wilson

My Aunt Catherine Peeke (89) and Awa Sheppard (90) were childhood and school friends with Ruth. They were a threesome that were not only good buddies but ranked in the top of their class academically ! I did take them to visit Ruth a couple of times when she was in the nursing home in Madison County. Awa did get to attend the funeral but didn't get to speak to the family members. Catherine was unable to attend due to a fall on Monday
(April 22nd) of this week. They knew Ruth all the way...

My love and prayers to the family. Ruth was a sweet woman of God, a friend and inspriration in the little Methodist church we attended so many years ago . I have many memories of her service with the music and the youth of the church, and of our Ballard family ties. In Christ; Lois Jones Sprouse

So sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor and a sweet friend to my Mother, Zennie Jones.
