Ruth Evelyn Zerkle

I am one of Ruth's many grandchildren. I remember when she and I would take walks through the trees and around the house when I was little. It did not seem like much then it almost seemed insignificant. Looking back on it now knowing she is gone, it seems magical. In loving memory of a wonderful woman, Ruth, forever in my heart, you will stay. I love you, grandma.

Ruth was a great woman, always caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved her family, they were her life, her hope, and her peace. She was loved by all. She loved all.

My deepest condolences to you Keith and the Zerkle family for the loss of your mother and father. I know it´s been quite a while since your father passed. I still wanted to reach out to you and offer my sympathy. You have never left my heart.

Kim and I always enjoyed visiting with Ruth on the farm. I know you will miss her. Her stories were always interesting and often humorous. I still remember her telling about all the phone calls to the Urbana mayor she used to receive. Take care and I hope we might be able to visit later this year.
