So sorry to read about your lovely Mother. My Mother always enjoyed spending time with Ruth, which they did until her death. I will always remember her beautiful smile and hair. Donna, sorry I couldn't be with you today..

I was very blessed to have the privilege of knowing such a wonderful lady who was always happy and had a big smile on her face for everyone. I knew Ruth as a member of Broad Ripple Club where she was a vital part of our membership, always teaching, helping and doing things for all of the members. Your mom was such a lovely person. She always saw the glass as half full. She wanted the world to be a lovely place. Her dedication to flowers is a testament to the beauty that she saw in the world.
I will never forget when she got her aviary. It was so cool and outside the norm at the time. She loved beautiful things.
She was always nice to me and all the neighborhood boys. We felt welcome and at ease in her house.

So sorry for your loss. My youth was spent growing up with the Zimmerman family and Donna and I graduated from HS together. Your mom was one of the nicest LADIES I ever met. I hope to see you Sunday
