Ryan Keith Bonn

I knew Ryan years ago, in the mid to late 1980's. he used to come see my band play at San Antonio venues. we became pretty good friends for a few years. I heard he passed away & sent another old friend a message asking about Ryan. I never got a response from her. so sorry about his passing! he was a very talented guy & a great singer. RIP, Ryan !

Ryan and I worked together at Cabaret SA. He was so beautiful inside & out! His voice was unique & so beautiful. He would have won star search with the right song! His talent on the piano also I will remember him playing singing before we opened! I was to visit him in NYC but I didn’t go a regret as it would have been a wonderful adventure! May the world all know someone as precious as him.

We met when I was stationed at Ft. Sam Houston, and became inseparable. Happy to say we stayed in touch thru out the years, and over the miles. Never known anyone so talented, beautiful and humble. I was devastated when I found out his light had gone out. I will miss him calling just to sing me his latest favorite song. My heart is breaking for my dear friend Ryan. Ryan and I met in NYC in the late 1980's and became immediate soul mates. We were battling tenors but never, ever were in competition, we always had amazing fun singing our hearts out doing sweet harmonies with Ryan accompanying us on the piano at my Upper West Side flat. I had the good fortune to meet Ryan shortly after he moved to NYC. It was 1987; Ryan needed some temporary housing and my roommate and I had some space. (We heard about Ryan through a mutual friend.) Ryan was so lively and fun! I really learned a lot from spending time with him. But the best part was having him sing around the apartment what an incredible talent! I am very sad to hear of Ryan's passing. We met in NYC back when he was just starting his career in the 80's. He was ready to take the world on and we had fun together trying. He was kind and energetic. His passing is a loss and though his memory shall endure.
