Ryan was a former student of mine at Iona Prep - the class was government & economics. I remember Ryan so well - he was intelligent, considerate and very caring. However, I remember him most because in 35 years of teaching I never had a student ask me what Ryan asked me one day in class. He wanted to speak to all of my classes and basically defend the position of the Wall Street community after the collapse of 2008. As a generous, outgoing and nice guy, I am honored to have known a soul such as Ryan's. I am still shocked that you are gone so quickly. I wouldn't have approved of anyone else to make Lauretta as happy as you did. Rest In Peace, I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
