I can't believe I didn't know about his passing for so long. I've been very upset by the news. Ryan was my sophomore prom date, a crush, a neighbor, a good friend and a confidante.
We lived a few buildings away from each other in Rome, went to the same very small high school and hung out together regularly. He called me his little sister a lot of the times. He had a good heart and I will miss him dearly.
The last time I talked to him was in 2006 right before I moved back to Rome...

I just found out about Ryan and it is so heartbreaking. I met him shortly after I moved to Ithaca and we always kept in regular contact. He loved to entertain and made me those special steak and lobster dinners. I remember how much he raved about lobster and his graduate work. He was so fun and spunky. He will be forever missed
