Ryan Deffet

I regret never meeting Ryan because he reminds me so much of who I consider to be my best true friend and also Ryan's dad Mike. A lot of good memories were had between Mike and me that it is a travesty that I could never share those (not all of them) with Ryan.

Ryan was an outstanding young man who was always polite and courteous. I never heard someone say a bad word about him. So so talented in so many many ways. Tragic

Mr. Deffet was the kindest soul I had ever met. Every morning I would walk into school, I would smile and give him a peace sign. He always made me laugh and always believed in me as a student. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Ryan. I wish that I would have met this young man since I know and admire the family so much.

I knew Mr. Deffet from being at Wolcott during my first year. We first met when he was an adjunct for my Chicago History class, and from then on, we always enjoyed talking to each other.
