Ryan Matthew Dillon, 28, of DeKalb, Ill., died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Ill. He was born Aug. 4, 1983, in Easton, Md., to Dennis and Sharon (Cox) Dillon.
Ryan graduated from Morris Community High School in 2001.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon of DeKalb; sister: Nicole Dillon of Farmington; aunts, Peggy (Greg) Richards of Stockbridge, Ga., Sandra Cox of Maryland, Vicky (Bill) VanLoo of Easton, Stacy Bishoff of St. Michaels, Md.; uncles: Holt Cox of Stockbridge, Frank (Margaret) Cox of Riverdale, Ga., Jerry (Myra) Bryson of Locus Grove, Ga., Bobby (Jen) Bridges of Easton, and Jimmy Dillon of Greensboro, Md.
He was predeceased by his father, Dennis; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home, 310 Oak St., DeKalb, IL 60115, with Major Robert McClintock of the Rockford Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
