Dan has been my dear friend since we first met in a highschool biology class back in 1994. Of all the people I have known in my life he has been the most influential and beautiful person I could ever dream of having the pleasure to meet. He was a true friend, and though we share no blood, he was my brother. I will miss him with all of my heart.
