Despite being friends with you since our freshman year at Springfield, because I was not in EMS, I do not think that I fully grasped the impact that you had on others until your service... which was impressive beyond words.

I am truly humbled by your strength and achievements. There are people that talk a lot about doing things and then there are people that take action and do them. You are very much the latter.

I'll miss spending time with you but will look back...

Dear Nancy, Dave & Jess - I was deeply saddened to learn of Ryan's passing. I was away at the time and recently learned from a friend. My deepest sympathy to you. Please know Ryan has been in my prayers over his long illness and I pray that God continues to give you strength to carry on knowing you did everything you could for him. I know you're looking down on ALL these posts, and have that snicker that made you a memorable person. There are too many memories to mention of Ryan, and the #1 memory that I have was how hard he could make you laugh, and how quick witted he was.
