Not sure what to say?

Hello, We wanted to let your family and friends know that we are sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and some of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Ryan S. McCurdy US Marine Lance Corporal. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community,...

To the family and friends of Lance Cpl. Ryan S. McCurdy:
It has truly been my honor to sign Ryan's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Ryan will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy

Ryan in our 4th Grade class picture.

Dear Ryan,

I am remembering you most this Veteran's Day, and wanted to say that you really were one of the best friends I ever had as a boy. Thanks for all the late night raids in the woods, and awesome years in baseball. I joined the USMC and did four honorable years in your memory, Brother. You are always with me in spirit. Semper Fidelis.

God bless you and your fellow Marines, Ryan "Dirty" "Blue Shoes" McCurdy. We are forever indebted to you.
Jan, always in my heart.

Ryan, thinking of you today. Semper Fi, Brother.

Jan, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jan,
I'm Sandra Stewart, mother of Cpl. David S. "Bear" Stewart who was killed in Haditha, August 3, 2005. You and I have met on a couple of occasions. I heard you went to the cemetery at dawn the other day. I often go to the cemetery at dusk. I share your grief for your beloved Ryan and for the bewildered feeling that our beautiful sons were here and then in an instant they were snatched away. Grief and remembrance never end. We just learn to function with all the agony...

Thinking of Ryan today. Jan-It is such an Honor to get to know him though you.
