Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Ryan was an amazing teacher he got me threw my first 2 1/2 years of highschool with only a few wounds that have healed. I will always remember "the big guy"! My prayers are with you and your family.

During high school, I was involved in 3 things. And McKeithan taught me 2 of them. I am who I am because of who he was, and who he saw that I could become. I am forever greatful for the role he played in my life, and will miss him greatly. Once, during my junior year, we were all trying to figure out why some peole called him Al and others called him Ryan, upon being asked he would only tell us that it was a family name and we would never guess it. He was right. Now, 3 years later, he finally...

I had Mr. McKeithan as a College Speech teacher, and if it wasnt for him, i wouldnt be able to stand up in front of a crowd, and give a speech about anything! He has made a huge difference in my life! im going to miss him so much! McKeithan family, you are in my prayers!

Lucia, We met in 2004 at Western Guilford High School's 35th Reunion. It was so nice to re-connect with the "kids" that I went to school with! I am SO sorry to hear of Al's death. You and your family are in my prayers.

We were just informed of Mr. Mckeithan's passing. Our son (Jesse) was in his debate class in 1990. We are so sorry for the loss. He was also a customer of JM Company. All of Mr. McKeithans family will be in our prayers. We pray for God's peace and for God to draw you close. Only He can help. Lovingly, Peggy and Jess Martin

I am sorry to hear about Mr. McKeithan. He was a great man with an equally wonderful family. He will be remembered for his sincerity, work ethic, and most importantly, the respect he showed towards everyone. Again, I am sorry for your loss and will keep the entire McKeithan family in my prayers.

I just wanted to express my condolences to the entire McKeithan family. Every year I would work with Ryan at the National Catholic Forensics League fall moderators’ meeting and spring tournament. Ryan was always creative, insightful, and there with the perfect joke when the workload got stressful. He will be missed by the crew that worked with him each year.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ryan, or Mr. Mac as I knew him, was not only my favorite teacher but also a good friend. As a student at Jefferson County North from ’79 to ’82, he served not only as a teacher but also as a coach. His skills as an educator, though formidable, were no match for his skills as a mentor and motivator. He was personable, humorous, intuitive and amicable in even the most difficult situations. I learned more about integrity and humility during our short time...

Ryan was a great friend and mentor as he worked hard to become a better broadcast teacher. He came to visit me in Overland Park and cared so much about what he was doing as a career. It's obvious from the other entries here that he will be deeply missed. We in the Student Television Network broadcast group will miss him also.
