Tom, Martha, Brian, Kevin, Shannon, Mason, Mackenzie and family, my heart cannot express words for you loss. He truly was a man who knew about responsibility and took care of it. I cannot begin to express my sadness at learning of Ryan's passing. Just a year ago the Meert family was praying for their father in the hospital waiting room as we were for our family member. We shared a common bond and got to know each other at one of our lowest times. I feel so privileged to have spent time together. My memory of Ryan, goes way back to middle school and high school,he was one of my Chad's best friends. Ryan and Chad and a group of other guys did sports together and socialized together. During those years Ryan was quite the character, he was always smiling and always friendly and sometimes mischievous. Ryan was Chad's best man in his wedding. Ryan's smile was contagious and infectious. He will truly be missed by his family, friends and the community. My sincerest condolences .
