My deepest condolences to you both. My memories of Ryan will always be the little kid trying to catch the big one. Every fishermens dream. I don't know if he ever did. But to "Ryan" the dream is still there..........

The world has lost a wonderful person. I only met Ryan a handful of times through Cody. He was one of those people that as soon as you met him, you felt like you'd known him for years.
And I've heard so many wonderful stories about him.
It was so evident by his actions that his intentions were such that he would do anything for his loved ones. And his family included loved ones not limited by blood relation as he cared for so many, not to mention his service to all of us as a...

First of all… I remember (and will never forget) his smile.
He always seemed to have a smile on his face.
When I would see him he would walk up to you and wrap his arms around you and give you a big old hug!
(he was not afraid to give hugs!)
And being that he was a tall human being… I think 6' 4”… but being so thin be looked to be about 7 feet tall.
He had long arms that could almost wrap around you twice… or so it seemed.
He always had a positive attitude. I never heard him...

My deepest sympathy to the Scoville family! My heart aches for you during this time! May Ryans service to this GREAT NATION never be forgotten! He is a HERO to all!! RIP Ryan Wayne Scoville!!! Semper Fi!!! From a very grateful Marine Mama <3
