Rindskopf-Roth Funeral Chapel - Saint Louis Obituary

Beloved son of Sharon Rosenberg and Alan Snyder.  Dear brother of Jared Snyder.  Beloved grandson of Donna and Alan Rosenberg, Harriet Snyder, and the late Michael Snyder and the late Teresa Whitesell-Snyder.  Dear nephew, cousin and friend.

Ryan was a business student at the University of Georgia. In high school, he played basketball and volleyball, and also wrestled. He was a member of National Honor Society.  He loved movies, poker, sports, and nature. He had a wonderfully dry sense of humor and was beloved by both his high school friends and friends from Six Points, a Jewish sports camp in North Carolina that was a second home to him. He loved playing board games with his family, and participated in many Fantasy Football Leagues, including one with his brother, cousins, uncle, dad and Grampa.

A private family burial was held at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery in Chesterfield. The family will sit Shiva Monday, December 8 through Thursday, December 11, 5-8 pm, at their residence. A memorial honoring Ryan’s too-short life will be held at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road on Sunday, December 14 at 1:30 pm. For those who cannot attend in person, live stream is available  by clicking "watch video", below.  Contributions in Ryan’s memory may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 12125 Woodcrest Executive Drive, Suite 205, St. Louis, MO 63141 (https://www.namistl.org/get-involved/donate/); Foundation for Jewish Camp, Attn: Development, 253 West 35th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10001; or a charity of your choice.

Please note, for those wishing to send floral arrangements in memory of Ryan for the memorial service, we recommend advising your florist to deliver them directly to Congregation Shaare Emeth on Sunday, December 14 between 10am - noon.

Our Solutionary Project!

I am deeply saddened to hear about Ryan’s passing, and I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends during this very difficult time. Ryan was a creative student and a wonderful team player in the Spanish class. He was a natural leader who genuinely cared about others and was always willing to support his peers. Ryan was hardworking and thoughtful in his learning, and I especially remember the excellent Solutionary Project he completed with his classmates on healthy...

Al,
We just learned of this sad news of Ryan’s passing. Elena and I are so sorry.our hearts go out to you and your entire family.our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Although we have been gone from St Louis for 6 years now, the wonderful times and memories with you, your son and family and all the baseball practicesand games on the fieldall are treasured memories for us and always will be! May your memories of him be a blessing to you and your family as they always be for...

I never knew him well or had a chance to talk to him, but I would hear about him through people at school, and it was clear he made an impact on others. I’m really sorry to hear about his passing. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who was close to him.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Between my son (Manareldeen) and my daughter (Saba) I expect they might have known your son. I have emailed them. Maybe as a Freshmen your son was on the wrestling team with my son when he was a senior. Saba graduated two years before your son. Regardless, what a gigantic and unfair loss. I am sure you did everything you could. Support each other.

Dearest Alan, Sharon, Jared Harriet My words are empty, and my heart is filled with grief. I wish I were there in St. Louis to hug you all with support and love during this trying time. My family and I send our deepest condolences to you. please remember all the beautiful things you are beloved Ryan brought into this world and your life. Cousin DEE and family in Oregon.

Our deepest condolences to your family. In the short time at UGA, he became a dear friend to our son. Our hearts and prayers are with you all during this time.

I was one of Ryan’s teachers at Hope Montessori when he was a toddler with Bridget. He was the sweetest, most caring boy. He would always share facts with me about the Beatles and I would always listen to every one. I share those stories about him to this day because I was so impressed with his love for music! I will miss you buddy. Thank you for changing my life with your joy. My condolences to the entire family.
