Not sure what to say?

I was sad to read about Ryan's passing in our alumni magazine today. We went to Bluefield together and he was a friend to everyone who met him. We were in A Christmas Carol together at Bluefield, and there was a particular line that he said as the Ghost of Christmas Present that made the cast laugh ridiculously hard every single time and at every rehearsal. It was "Come and know me better, man." It was all in the delivery. He said it in a particular way that became kind of an inside joke to...

Ryan always had a way of making people laugh and smile no matter what they might be going through. I graduated from Bluefield College just a year before Ryan and we had some fun times especially in the theatre department! I hate that I didn't realize he had passed. Heaven is much brighter with Ryan there, and I'll never forget your way of getting a group of people laughing and just your genuine heart to make people feel good! Rest easy and I'll never forget you!

I went to Bluefield College with Ryan and just found out through another BC friend that Ryan had passed away. Ryan and I shared our birthday, lunches at the Fountain at New Graham pharmacy, and lots of laughs. My prayers are with Ryan's family as they continue to grieve this tremendous loss!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear of your loss. He lived 2 doors from us and went to school here. My prayers go out to the family.

My deepest sympathies. Ryan was a true friend. Sharing his compassion and laughter. He loved his family and Jackson too. Thank you God for this very special gentle man. Till we meet again Ryan. Love you. Ms. G
