News Death Notice
THUMA, Ryan S. age 24, of New Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 1, 2011. He was a self employed IT Tech. Ryan is survived by his parents, Scott A. & Renee C. Thuma of New Carlisle; fiancée, Whitney; son, Trenton S.; maternal grandparents, George & Lydiann Szmia of Troy; paternal grandparents, Roy & Carolyn Thuma of Troy; brother, Nathan A. Thuma of New Carlisle; paternal great grandmother, Florence Thuma of Tipp City; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday May 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 476 N. Scott St., New Carlisle, OH with Father Michael L. Bidwell celebrant. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Wright Patterson Credit Union for Trenton's education fund.

Renee, Scott, and Nathan,
I am SO sorry to hear about Ryan. I am truly at a complete loss for words. Ryan was an amazing young man that will never be forgotten! I have so many fun memories with him and I to this day, will never forget his laugh and contagious smile. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this tough time.

Having a hard time even writing our feelings of sorrow and condolence. So sorry for your loss. Even though I did not get to know Ryan very well, I have gotten to know what a wonderful person Nathan is and how good he is for my daughter and I am sure Ryan was wonderful too.
