Not sure what to say?

Once in a while I search online for old Navy buddies; just found this memorial for Ryan today. Ryan and I sat next to each other in Navy Nuclear Power School, back in late '93 to early '94. He was the most kind friend throughout that tough experience. We used to play little practical jokes on each other in class. In the afternoon during school, the students were encouraged to stand up in the back of the class to stay awake, and many of us did. One day, Ryan went to the back to stand. ...

O Ryan, my only son, cherished, choice boy who made me proud and fulfilled, we who are left to question all things will forever have the empty space in our hearts for you. We were separated by miles, now we are separated by time and dimension. Temos muitos saudades, o meu filho.

Richard Valentino

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Ryan was a great person!

We are so sorry for your loss. Ryan is etched in our memories forever.Thoughts of him bring smiles and feelings of great fondness.

My prayers go out to Ryan's family he was trully good guy with a heaert of gold.He will be sorely missed.

Please accept our deepest sympathies for your family during this trying time. Ryan will be missed by everyone who knew him. Please let Don or I know if you need anything at all. Our door is always open.

Ryan was a kind, intelligent, funny, and caring person with a heart of gold that is rare to find in another human being. Anyone who is lucky enough to have known him and to have had him touch their lives knows that he has made the world a better place simply by being here for this short time. I am so sad to hear about Ryan's passing.

With love and sympathy to his wife, son, parents, sister, and family,

Valarie Nierman (Kosik)

I’d like to extend my deepest sympathies to Ryan's family. Ryan was one of my closest and dearest friends for the last 17 years, beginning with the 6 years we shared in the Navy. He was so smart and hard-working, so friendly and fun-loving. I’ve never met anyone else like him. I still can’t believe he is gone.
Ryan, you and I have been through so much together. It breaks my heart to lose you, my friend and brother. Until we meet again, may you always have fair winds and following...
