Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry to hear about Ryland - he was one of the finest people I ever knew. I worked for Ryland at the phone company and have never had a better boss. I am so saddened by this loss, not only a loss to his family and friends, but certainly a loss to mankind. He will remain in my prayers and in my heart.

Mrs. Reamy and Family,

I received the sad news late last night and was truly shocked. I knew Ryland for a short time as a member of the Coalition of HOA presidents and very quickly came to respect his calm demeanor, words of wisdom and obvious depth of leadership experience. He will be greatly missed in this community.

Please know that you will remain in my thoughts and in my prayers. May God bring you comfort in this time of your grief and ultimately give you the peace that...

The Woodlake Board of Directors, the WCA staff, and our residents will miss Ryland. As friendly residents "across the lake," we valued his dedication and cooperation as we strived to preserve the lake and make our wonderful developments even better.

Our condolences go out to his family and friends near and far.

Dear Charlotte,

I will miss my good friend. I loved having conversations with him at Starbucks. Ryland was a great person. He was always so patient and helpful with the Chesterfield Coalition of Homeowners Association Presidents. Please let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you.

Sincerely,
Rick Brindle

Dear Derek and Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you each day. As your family gathers and shares memories, may God's love comfort your hearts.

We are saddened by this shock, asking God to give hope and help to the family. I wish I could hug
you all.

Ryland was one of my contemporaries at C&P Telephone back in the 60's and 70's. The rest of us were just kids, but Ryland had a maturity and wisdom far beyond the rest of us. His articulation and vocabulary were especially noteworthy. How did he know all those big words? We regarded him as pretty much a genius. Despite his obviously huge intellect, he always retained his humility. We knew that his calm, polite, and studious approach would take him a long way in the business world, and we...

Dear Jo,
We are so sorry for your loss. We enjoyed our time with you and Ryland, here in Portland--I know how much the Reamy family here so looked forward to your visits. We join the many others to pray for your peace and comfort in the coming days.
With Love,
Victoria Olivares and Family

Dearest Jo,

Clella and I share in your deepest sorrow at this time, upholding you and your family in our prayers. We enjoyed so much coming to know you and Ryland as our families came together in Derek and Sara and cherish with you our shared grandchildren.

You and Ryland are in-laws supreme for our daughter, and we profoundly appreciate the love and devotion you both gave your children. Derek is a son-in-law of gold, whom we love dearly and who faithfuly reflects the values...
