Not sure what to say?

Uncle Truman, was my fsvorite uncle. When came down to Mahanoy City to see my mom, dad, sisters and my grandmother myrtle he always asked me did I want to go to the bar with him to get a hot bologna and to do some shots. Which I would just laugh because I was to little to go to the bar. So he would then come to my moms house after being at the bar and we would eat a hot bologna together. Another time that was funny when he was down at my grandmother house and he got up from the couch and he...

Uncle Truman was a great man, I will remember most his sense of humor and warm smile. In another time and better place we will laugh again. I love you.

Uncle Truman, was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. We will always remember the time we spent with him and, Aunt Thurly, in NH, playing horseshoes, cleaning the pond, playing cards, and sharing stories, in front of his fireplace, where he built a fire for Ahlana, because she caught a chill,(in July 1993).As with many others he touched our lives,(every time), in a very positive way. He and Aunt Thurly, will remain in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers, always:)

Dad instilled in me a great love of the outdoors which has been my lifelong passion. My earliest memories are of playing around in a trout stream while he was up or down the stream catching some trout for dinner. Usually, the whole family was along and it was a Sunday afternoon. Mom with play pen and picnic lunch and blankets. It was still a few years before it was just dad and I out on a trout fishing outing by ourselves, when I could actually catch the fish myself and not just throw rocks...

I had Mr. Litwhiler from K-6th grade at T.R. & always loved him. He was a very warm man who made all his students feel talented. He will be missed. My sympathy to all your family.

R I P "GRANDPA" TRUMAN

Thurly, Steve, Robin, Karl & Tammy,
My Thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. My God Bless You and give you all His strength to make it through this difficult time. With Love,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful man. I have such fond memories of his art classes and also memories of his friendship with my parents. I remember the beagle puppy we got from him! My prayers go out to your family.

Thurl, Stephen, Robin, Karl and Tammy I send deepest sympathies to all of you. It is sad to hear of the death of Uncle Truman and my prayers are with you. Always knew that Trum was well liked and it is quite apparent with all the online comments from all over the country it is true.

God Bless you all!~
Chas.
