Not sure what to say?

Sending our condolences to the family. I have fond memories of Mr. Schiaffino. May he rest in peace.

Susan & Steve,

Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm very saddened to learn the news of my dear Uncle Steve's passing. I know he is in heaven surrounded by our departed loved ones and friends. I will always cherish the memories of going to Redskins games with Uncle Steve as well as all of our family gathers. He was a very special loving man and one that I looked to for advice and direction. I knew I could always go to Uncle Steve for anything. He was...

Sue and Steve:

There are no words that can take away the pain in your heart right now, but know that we are always here for you and praying for you.

Uncle Steve was a wonderful role model and mentor. His advice and support will be greatly missed by us and many others. We hope you can find peace in the wonderful life he has lived. May he rest in peace!

With Love,

Steve was respected and admired by the NIH Community and beyond. DRG/CSR was an essential and integral portion of the training received by EA Program residents during the entire 11 years which I served as Director of the Extramural Associates (EA) Program. For that I will forever be grateful to Steve.

Steve was an accomplished, well-respected, and likable man. May he forever rest in peace. My sympathies to his daughter Sue and son Steve. With respect Rich Scalco.

It was difficult for me to hear and read about Steve's passing today. I have not seen him for some time since moving to Charlotte, N.C. I remember the family get togethers we shared with Josie, Steve when I lived in Silver Spring. He was a very dedicated person to his family and his work. He now is with many of our relatives in a safe place. He will be remembered.

Steve was a great fellow, and a pleasure to work with. He was extremely skilled in being able to do just the right things to make it possible for a new "Exec Sec" (me) to be successful. For that I will be forever thankful. He and his family will be in my prayers.

Dear Schiaffino family,

I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father, Stephen. He was a source of strength, care, and kindness towards my Grandmother Mary C. DiPrima, my mother Sue Anne (Diprima)Thompson, and myself. When we saw him, he always was interested in how we were doing as a family, and what we were doing in our individual lives. He especially made sure that we visited our Grandma DiPrima on a regular basis. I remember him as a man of self-discipline, self-determination,...

So sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with your family.
