Not sure what to say?

Dr. Mitch and I had YMCA lockers across from each other for years. I fondly recall his gregarious personality and his wonderful sense of humor. He treated two of my good friends along their ways, both of whom thought the world of him. Godspeed Mitch!

I was blessed to meet Mitch through Biogen and MS . He really loved helping his patients and all of us learn . He came to Chicago often and he was always entertaining . He will be greatly missed by so many .

He was the best doctor I ever had. He would actually listen to you when no one else would. My heart goes out to his family. I am so fortunate to have been one of his patients for over 20 years

I was so saddened to go to the Raleigh Neurology webpage and find news of Dr. Freedman's passing. He guided me through many years of MS and my husband and I always left his office smiling. Dr Freedman will forever be my favorite Doctor. I was so sad when he stopped practicing and even more so now to know he´s passed. Much love to the family!

I rode the bus to Elementary School with his son David for several years while attending Washington Elementary in Raleigh. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I just learned of Mitch's passing and join in the grief. As so well described by Dr. Payne, I too was one of those Duke Neurology residents who was blessed with the opportunity to accept his patients in transfer. Dr. Freedman always called to give his excellent history. Later it remained a distinct privilege to know him as a colleague, generous in sharing gems in the form of patients and wisdom in practice. His collegiality and excellence in Neurology would be enough, but what I remember...
