Sandy,
So sorry to hear of your dad's sudden passing. My mom graduated with Harold and was great friends with Edna and your dad. In fact whe i told her of your dad's passing, even in her state of dementia, recalled fond memories of their childhood together. May God comfort ou during this time.

David,
So shocked to read of your Dad's passing. What a force of nature he was!! I always got a kick out of seeing and talking to him. He was quite a character.I'd beep when I saw him on his bike and he'd wave. For the longest time he would bring "Swiss" chocolates to Mom and I in church each Sunday. He would say, "Sweets for the sweet!"
I will miss him. Maybe he and Dad will get a round going up in Heaven or shoot the hoops like they did in their youth.
Love,
Sherry

Sandy,
Jan and I are praying for your family during this difficult time. My mom always talked about your dad with such fondness. I think he was a senior when she was about 7th grade. My uncle, Don Lute, would talk about how much fun it was to watch him play basketball.

May God hold you firmly in His grip during this time. Mourn his passing, but celebrate a life well-lived.
