Not sure what to say?

You are loved and missed. I can still hear your laughter.

I love and miss you.

It has been hard not having you physically attend family visits and functions for these last 10 years. As much as I love and miss you, I know that you are safe in your eternal home. In your infamous words Papa, "bye for now." Your daughter-girl loves you.

We love and miss our Papa.

Thanks to everyone for the kindness that you have shown to my family and me. We will all cherish the memories of Papa. He brought a smile to everyone he met.

I will honor him by practicing the life lessons that he taught my brothers Cedric, Carl and me. Papa helped to shape us by teaching us what he knew about living a righteous life and giving us his unconditional love.

Papa will live on in the hearts of all of us, especially his grands and great-grandchildren.

As I thought about what to say the first thing that came to mind was his laugh. Whenever I heard it all I could do is giggle or smile! That's what I will truly miss. I'm very glad that I was able to be a part of his life. So anytime I hear a good laugh, I will think of him.

The family and friends of Saalim Abdullah would like to thank everyone for their prayers, visits and words of encouragement that you have given each of us in our time of need. A special thanks to the hospice staff.

Saalim and I were together for 21 years and I will greatly miss him.

To those who were both friend and family to my father, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am as grateful for you having been a part of his life as he was.

My thoughts and prayers for you.
