Sabina Borunda Ortega

Sabina Borunda Ortega, 89, of Midland, Texas passed away on October 14, 2021.

She was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. Sabina enjoyed and had a love for serving others in the meals she prepared. She married her late husband Alfonso Ortega in 1949 and were married for 68 years before he preceded her in death. Together they had 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Ramon Ortega, Jesus A. Ortega, Armida Belmonte, Benjamin Ortega, Martin Ortega and Maria del Socorro Mendoza, 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfonso Ortega and daughter Martha Ortega.

Viewing will be Monday, October 18 from 1:00pm-9:30pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church (Iglesia Emanuel 1800 Cherry Lane, Midland, Tx 79701) with an evening prayer service at 7:00pm.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 19 at 10:00am at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
