Saburo "Fred" Aoki

Dear Aoki family,
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your wonderful father. I remember your father as always being very friendly, warm-hearted, and a wonderful chef of Japanese food! I got to know your family when I worked as a dishwasher at the Akebono in summer 1980 while I was in college. I had so much fun, and I can't tell you how delightful it was to experience Japanese language and Japanese American life in Denver (since I am not a Nikkeijin). I always have warm memories of that...
