Sadie Irene Riley Eudy, 91, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Sadie was born October 24, 1925 in Cabarrus County to the late Lawson McClure and the late Lillian Lefler McClure. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 53 years, Fred T. Riley, who passed away in 1997; second husband of 11 years, Craven McDaniel "Crack" Eudy, who passed away in 2010; and nine brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Friday, May 5, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Billy O'Neil. The burial will be at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 5340 Flowes Store Rd., Concord. At other times, the family will be gathering at her home. Sadie will lie in state from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Riley Milstead Cook and husband Terry "Hack" of Midland; sons, Donald Patrick Riley and wife Kathy of Mt. Pleasant, Fred Thomas Riley, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Charlie McClure; sister, Marcel "Molly" McClure Cox; grandchildren, Jamey, Tracy, Tommy, Tiffany, Sean, Jason; great-grandchildren, Cody, Brittany, Sadie, Harlee, Case, Colton, and Nathan; step-children, Penny Dowse and Bob Eudy of Concord; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sadie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She faithfully attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church as long as her health allowed, and was a devoted homemaker. Sadie also enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and sewing.
