Not sure what to say?

Ms. Garner was my teacher in 1977-78. She told us all we were beautiful young people. She was a brilliant educator and a kind and inspirational person. Because of her, I am in my 20th year of teaching middle school. I will always remember her.

As a colleague of Sadie Garner at Yplilanti High School we shared many joys of working together with the youth of Ypsilanti. We also shared our commitment to the Summer Art Festival. She is missed.

Sadie always lead the way with her quiet strength and integrity. She was the model of what it means to be a teacher.

Ms. Garner shared her grace and light with all of us, encouraging us to follow our spirits, develop our passions, be active participants in the world and in life, and embrace learning as a life-long joy and adventure. My deepest condolences to her family.

The family can take comfort that Sadie planted many seeds, which are blooming well in our...

My condolences to Miss Garner's family. She was a woman who not only taught English, but deftly guided her students into adulthood through her sincere interest in their futures. She will be missed.

Offering our deepest sympathies during this time.

Mrs. Garner was a teacher that went above and beyond to make a difference. May God comfort and bless the family during this time.
