God’s Spiritual Angel (blue eyed) Sadie Belle Mills passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 5, 2018 at Windemere Nursing Home at Westover Hills. She gained her Angel wings at the age of 77. She was born in Washington DC, January 24, 1941and the daughter of the late Emma Hall and William F. Mills, Sr. predeceased by brothers, William F. Mills, Jr., Henry H. Mills, Donald Mills, Robert M. Mills, Sister Betsy M. McRae and Aunt Doris Liggins. She is survived by sisters, Lorraine M. Jennings, Rosemary M. Massey and Ellen M. Lewis; Aunt Frances Liggins; and devoted, special niece, Deborah M. Mills, Ione Armstrong (Terry), Angelia Mills, Monique Armstrong, Nancy Lewis, Sandra Liggins, Joan Banks; nephew’s Irving F. Mills and Richard Lewis. She will be greatly missed.
Sadie Mills was a treasure to so many people with a memorable effect on their lives. If you ever met her you would never forget her; she told everyone who visited her, “Hi Baby, I love you.” No matter how you felt, she would lift your spirits and you would leave her room with a smile. She was beautiful, kind, sweet, and big-hearted.
