Cleoletta (and family),

I was very sadden to hear about the loss of your mother; she was truly a friend to the community of Hamilton Park and will be missed. Please accept my belated condolences.

I remember Ms Gee from my elementary school days at B. F. Darrell. She was firm but gentle and encouraged us take our education seriously, love one another and be respectfull of one another. I moved to Hamilton Park in 1979 and to my suprise, she still remember me. She will be greatly missed, but she's in a better place. May the great comforter, comfort the family in this time of bereavement.

Hello Cleoletta, This is Clara JoEtta Royster-Stephens,Mrs Anna Mata Royster's daughter. Your mother and my mother were dear friends when we were growing up. You and your family have my heart felt condolences at the passing of Mrs. Gee, one of the icons of knowledge and history for a lot of us during our up bringing. She will live on in our collective memories. You can e-mail me at [email protected]. Our prayers are with you and your family.

May you be comforted by the memories bestowed of a well lived life. Thank you for sharing such a gracious pillar with the Hamilton Park community.

I Thank Mrs. Gee for many life lessons, and for the value of not forgetting the past. She was the Church Historian and for the neighborhood. She was young in spirit and always wanted to continue learning, as I wittness with helping to teach her some computer skills, which she loved! I will miss her dearly...Love ya

Cleoletta and family,

Loving your mother was easy for me because she was one of my most valued mentors. Mrs. Gee instilled in me the desire to pronunciate my words correctly and be proud of it, to act like a lady of distinction at all times and to love people. These are three specific attributes, among others, that Mrs. Sadye Gee taught me. I speak of her in some of my books and have told my children about this masterful queen of education. May her story linger forever in the...

I will always remember Sadye Dupree Gee. She is a matriarch to be honored. In elementary school, she taught me to love appreciate my dark skin and the broad noses and thick lips of the Africans whose pictures were in our encyclopedia. This was in the 1960's. I love her. I pray the family will enjoy her memories in peace and prosperity.

I will remember you in my prayers, and at the end of the day may you find peace in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
