Not sure what to say?

I was a classmate of Sage's in junior high (Oak Crest). I lost touch with him after 8th grade. I happened on an article about his father today and thought I'd check to see anything online about Sage. That's when I found out about his passing. I'm sorry to hear that left this Earth too soon. I pray that you are at peace.

Sage, you were my roommate and my jogging partner. You were with me last night in memories as I literally ran into a person we both knew. I asked about you and he told me you passed a year ago. I was shocked, saddened, angry and now I just wish I could talk to you. We cooked meals together, surfed, laughed and shared recovery. That's my remembrance of you. We're all on the same path and I believe that we will find friendship together again down the road.

Thinking of you always my brother! Oh how I miss you. Love Heidi

To the Hansen family, I know how hard it was for all of you to watch Sage struggle. Just know that he is finally at peace. My heart goes out to those of you in pain. I hope that you find comfort in all the cherished memories that you have of Sage.
With loving thoughts and prayers.

Sage.. I remember going surfing with you everyday while we kicked it during our Jr. High days at Oak Crest. I am going to miss you cuz. The good old Swami's days were a lot of good fun.
Aloha from Hawaii and Bradah you will always be remembered.

Sage.. I remember going surfing with you everyday during our time we kicked it during our Jr. high days at Oak Crest. And I just found out that you were friends with my cousin. I am going to miss you cuz. The good old Swami's days... Aloha my good friend from Hawaii

I remember meeting Sage when he was 7 years old. He had just learned to play "Eye of the Tiger" on the piano. When he finished he smiled a smile of complete confidance and control. That smile followed him through life. Even on the coldest of days at Swami's his smile and quick wit always seemed to warm up the line-up. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Sage...you will remain deep in my heart and soul forever..you were loved by many, including me..always sweet and deeply loyal to friends and family..never a dull moment..you wore your big heart on your sleeve...Peace and prayers for you and your family..See you later...

Don, Shirley, Christian, Heidi, Josh & Bo,
I will miss Sage dearly and will always treasure our times together in South Dakota. You are all in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May you cherish your memories of the good times spent together and know that Sage is at peace with his mom Sharon, Nick, Grandpa Milt and Grandma Violet to watch over him.
