Remembering Aunt Sallie and summer in Birmingham. So very sorry Robert, Kendall and Cole.

Bill and I are deeply saddened with Sallie´s death. She was more than my employer and landlord for Bill´s business; she was a dear friend. Sallie will be remembered for her compassion and kindness to all. Praying for peace for this awesome family.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Sallie throughout my career at the Bham Area Chamber of Commerce- what a wonderful, genteel, hard working Southern lady who never failed to help any of us out on any project promoting Bham. As a groundbreaking small businesswoman, she served on our board as well as innumerable committees and won every small business honor we ever gave. RIP, Sallie, everyone loved you and I do too.

Cole and Robert, I am very sad to hear about Sallie. She was a true southern lady and was a role model for many women, regardless of their age. I was privilaged to be a member of her organization for several years. I fashioned my career after her in the way she treated her employees. Prayers for the comfort and peace for the family.
