Sallie was my next door neighbor for several years when I moved to Point Clear. She welcomed me to the neighborhood and we remained good friends for over 20 years. She will be sorely missed by me and the other neighbors in "The Hood." My condolences to her family and sweet Vernon for your loss.

Sallie was a kind,cheerful,giving person and the perfect partner for Vernon when he started Balmoral Presbyterian Church in the 1960s. She was much loved. The entire congregation mourned when they moved away.
