WILLIAMS, Sallie Louise Branch, 78, widow of Pierce Randolph Williams Jr., of Glen Allen, Va., was called home on Friday, April 9, 2010. Sallie is the daughter of the late Charlie and Louise Branch, and attended Virginia Randolph School. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted family, son, Pierce Williams; three daughters, Betty Jo Williams, Christine Goodall- Pearson and Beverly Bey, all of Glen Allen, Va.; one devoted brother, Robert Branch (Margaret); one granddaughter, Tameka Bey; five grandsons, Raymond Williams, John Woolridge, James Goodall, Michael and Pierce Williams; four great-grandchildren, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005, where visitation services will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010, 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Glen Allen, Va. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Ms. Sallie will be sorely missed by all the children she helped care for during her 24 years at St. Joseph's Villa. She was an incredibly dear lady who will be missed at our next reunion. Thank you for all your years of loving care.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, Mrs. Salle Williams. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. Ms. Sallie was very sweet and kind. She treated me like family. I will miss her much, but I am glad I had the chance to know her.
