Not sure what to say?

Rereading Sally's obit, it's just amazing all she did.

So many fond memories growing up with the Behnke kids. Sally and my Mother Marilyn McKay Green had a love for horses and were at St. Nick together. My brother Bill and sister Linda did some early schooling for the deaf with Ned a wonderful talented friend. I remember wonderful 4th of July's at the Behnke Bainbridge home. Also my Dad Levis would make a regular every other week trip to the Behnke's for a game of Gin Rummy. Sally is gone but I have many memories.

Dear Carl, Renee & Family~
My love and sincere sympathy to each of you. Sally has always been one of my community role models I have revered. She was the first recipient of the Junior League of Seattle Dorothy Stimson Bullitt Award for a lifetime of volunteer leadership in 1989. I was in the audience that day and was so pleased to follow in her footsteps 15 years later and receive the same award. I will so miss seeing her at our annual luncheon for past DSB recipients. She could light...

When I moved here from New York almost 30 years ago, and wanted to resume riding, Sally leased me one of her wonderful retired hunters at Evergreen Equestrian Center, and we enjoyed many rides together. She made me feel very welcome to the area, and was always generous with her time and horses. The equestrian community has lost a wonderful member.

Dear Carl and Family:
I send my condolences to you and your entire family on the passing on of your beloved Mother. I remember her from my youth and how inspirational she was to me way back then! I cannot think of a more generous person with her time and talent than your Mother exhibited. May God bless you all at this sad time.

As a childhood friend of Ned Behnke, I'm glad I had the opportunity to know Sally over the years. She and my mother had two things in common: raising a deaf child and encouraging us to excel in art. My condolences to John and Shari as well as the rest of the Behnke clan.

I have wonderful childhood memory's of jumping off the dock with my brother and sister, Linda and Bill and swimming with Ned. Sally was much loved by our family.

Dear Behnke Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a very nice lady and was always spoken highly of by my parents . My prayers go out to all of you.

To the family.
I am sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort grant you peace in your time of grief.
