Not sure what to say?

I had Miss Boardman for an English class at Robert E Peary HS in the early 1970's. She was such a a wonderful teacher and person that I still think of her often. Her compassion, broad mindedness, and gentleness set her apart from your typical high school teacher of the day. I'm very saddened to hear of her passing.

I remember Sally from grade school; always upbeat, energetic and willing to work hard for the things she was passionate about. My condolences to Dick and the family.

Dick and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Sally. Your family will be in my prayers.

So sorry to read about Sally's passing. I have fond memories of her being so gracious and welcoming as we worked on our MBA projects at your home in Scarborough so many years ago. My condolences to Dick and your family.

Dear Sally, You and I were freshmen at UMO in 1964, on the same floor of Kennebec. I admired your intelligence, your confidence, and your kindness. We took many courses together as English majors. My first year of teaching, when I knew nothing about teaching, you generously sent me your entire Greek mythology unit, no questions asked. I always admired your intelligence, your confidence, your willingness to share. Your family was so fortunate to call you theirs. I wish you had been given...

I was saddened to read about Sally's death. I first met her at a wedding and then again in Europe. It was there, during a lot of walking, that I enjoyed her stories and humour. She was a delightful person. My sincere condolences to her family. Though she has slipped the surly bonds of earth, her memory will linger.
RIP Sally.
