Not sure what to say?

We are sorry to learn of Sally's death, and know she is in a nicer place now.

My love, thoughts and prayers are with Sally's family. Treasure the memories of this lovely mom, sister, aunt and friend. Sally and I had many fun filled years as classmates at Garden Home Grade School and Beaverton High School. Our last visit was at the BHS
50th classs reunion in 2006. Lots of hugs, smiles and reminiscing. Sally brighten many lives and is now at peace.

My thoughts and love go out to Sally's family. She was such a beautiful, bright light in all the lives she touched. We were classmates from Garden Home through graduation from BUHS.

I've known Sally since early grade school; in fact, she was cheerleader in the 7th-8th grades while I played right guard in basketball, wearing #4 for the Garden Home Gophers. Sally and I have kept in touch over the years, amazingly. When I was in the 6th grade, I remember her brother Chuck in the 8th grade punting the football (barefoot!!) about 80 or 100 yards. I am very sorry to hear that Sally has passed away.
Fondly, Dan [Daniel W Nebert, MD, Cincinnati; summer home in Tillamook OR]

My husband, Kem Klosterman, grew up with Sally on beach vacations in Gearhart, Oregon. He remembers her very well as a beautiful and warm person. She was also his cousin, and Kem sees Charlie once in awhile and enjoys visiting with him. Sincerely, Karen Klosterman.

As a former neighbor, friend, babysitter to Sally's three children, and teacher to both her son Christopher and to her nephew Tim Shea, I feel a deep loss to an abiding connection with my years in Orange County and Portland. Sally was an incredibly elegant and beautiful lady. Her obituary is a testament to a life of quiet dignity, generosity, love and compassion. I know that she bore her own heartaches with resolution and grace. More importantly, she loved and touched the lives of so many...

My name is Paula Nelson Saifer. I babysat all children while living on Canary Lane. Sally was a beautiful lady. My brother, Leonard Nelson, who teaches at Jesuit High, called me to let me know of her passing. I feel like we've lost a true neighbor and friend through the years. May she be at peace and making Heaven a better place. All our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
