Sally M. Cox

In 1970 &71 I had Miss Cox for fifth then sixth grade. I was so happy. In 71 my grandparents were killed in a car accident. Miss Cox loved men so much during that time I will never forget her. Rest in peace sweet lady. You are a special part of my life. God Bless Jay J Krickeberg

I was 11 years old and in Miss Cox's 5/6 Grade split class in 1968 at Lincoln School in West Allis, WI. I have always considered Miss Cox my favorite teacher of all time - she made me feel special and inspired me to continue my love of academia. I remember her teaching us folk dancing, and having our Friday afternoon "hootenannys" during the Folk Music Revival of the 1960s. So sorry to hear that Sally has left us. Kim and I always enjoyed seeing her and Alice at family events with Pam and Frank. We will pray for all of those will miss her smile and conversations. We still have a picture on our wall showing Sally lighting up a big old cigar with a smile on her face at a party at Pam and Franks house.That´s how we will remember her, smiling and surrounded by family and friends.
