Not sure what to say?

Dearest Sally, my Mom entered Heaven two months ago. If you look around, I am sure you will run into her. You, and Dolores Pagano, and Mom will have a great time reminiscing. I am sure that Dolores will be bringing one of her specialty cakes for the occasion. Be sure to wear your red lipstick. Mom will be wearing a light blue suit. We miss all of you.

Is it already 15 years since Sally passed away? I'll always remember her dark curly hair, her red lipstick, her beautiful smile, and how she was such a wonderful friend to my mother. I enjoyed running errands for her, and I'd always refuse payment. How could I accept money from someone who was almost part of my family? I still miss those family picnics at the beach, or how she and I walked into Oneida Lake one time, just talking about our lives (and me being only 12 years old), and getting so...

I hope all is well with David & Janet. We live 3000 miles apart, so I do not see them and I do not have an email address for them. Maybe we can get in touch some how?

I'll always remember getting together for those Sunday cookouts with the DiMento's. And I will certainly not forget scaring Sally out of her wits when I fashioned a fishing hook from a safety pin and proceeded to cast off into the lake, hooking either David or Janet in the ear (sorry, I was just a little kid, you know). Better days found me sitting at her dining room table sketching pictures with David or checking out the model WWII airplanes that Frank had built. I was always welcome in...

Dearest Janet and David,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.
She was an amazingly strong woman.
I know I speak for my brothers and sisters when I recall how much we enjoyed going to visit your home.
Dandy was the center attraction!
Your mother lived a long life. Rest in the knowldge that she is re-united with the love of her life, your Dad.
May you find peace in knowing that she is with you in spirit
Always,
Susan

I remember Sally from when I was a very young child. She and Frank were among my parents' best friends, and we loved getting together with them. She was a kind and thoughtful woman, and I enjoyed spending time with her at Verona Beach even when I was very young. She knew how to relate to kids and treat them like equals. During WWII, Sally's fiance Frank was captured and spent the entire war in a Japanese POW camp. Without knowing for sure if he would ever come home, she still waited...
