I remember my grandmother being a proud and resolute woman who may not have always enjoyed the bitter cold, but I cherish the fond memories; the taste of strawberries and the smell of cigarette smoke will always remind me of her, and nothing can compare with her Carrot Cake. Rest in peace, grandma! Love you

I never really knew the Sally that Tara and "Pops" described and that I saw pictures of, but I know in my my heart she had to be a wonderful and special lady. Tara and "Pops", you were blessed to have her in your lives for as long as you did. And, I hope you both cherish the wonderful memories that you have of her. We, (myself, Mom and EJ) are blessed to have you both as our friends. God bless and RIP, Sally, and God, I pray that you find a cure for that atrocious disease Alzheimer's that...

Your daughter and my friend have shared so much over the years. I am proud of her for being able to be there with you and her pops. You raised a great young lady. Prayers are with them as you travel to our heavenly Father.

Though we didn't know you; through your daughters kindness actions and thoughtfulness we know you had to be a very fine and beautiful woman. Your family is truly blessed to of had such a strong good woman in their life.
