Read MoreI must have been one of her very first students. I had a lisp. For 2 years at Avery School I met with her. Ultimately, in my role as a university professor and department head, I had to lecture regularly. While the word "statistics" occasionally gave me pause, I have no discernible lisp. Thanks to her skill, patience and talent.

Sally Ann was always their for her friends, whether it was someone having problems, helping out buying food for the food pantry for years, ladies night out with her church friends, being with her best friend, or just being a listening ear. We will miss her tremendously.
