I knew Sally back in the 70's when she was the Childrens Librarian at
Loussac. I still work for Loussac;
going on for 35 years. Sally was a
delightful person and a wonderful friend. My condolences to her family.

We met Sally about 20 years ago when she would stop by our out of print bookshop the Alaskan Renaissance in Spenard. During the 1990s we met her again when we would frequent the Unitarian Church in the Turnagain area where we lived. I was always impressed she would drive from Palmer, some 50 miles, to attend church in west Anchorage. Says something about the church and her connection I suppose. I'm very sorry to hear of Sally's passing. She was my college English professor about 12 years ago. Though I didn't know her well, I'd like her family to know what an excellent, encouraging and unforgettable instructor she was.
